The new campus of Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital was clearly built with healing in mind, complete with gardens and outdoor spaces that truly achieve their goal of “harnessing the curative power of nature and letting the outside in.”
As the opening approached, many events were held to showcase the new hospital, but one stood out to me, the Patron’s Dinner. A dinner for just 30 guests, it was the smallest of all the events, held in their beautiful garden space on a gorgeous fall evening.
